I used the Sanity as a CMS because it’s really neat and easy to setup (if you know JavaScript).  It has GraphQL built in so that was nice, and there are certain advantages of using GraphQL over REST, one being that you can select exactly the kind of data you want so you won’t run into over-fetching or under-fetching.
